Intipunku is located at 2,600 meters above sea level, on the flank of the Machu Picchu mountain. It was once known as the entrance to Machu Picchu. The views from this point are spectacular.

On the opposite side of Machu Picchu is the Inca Bridge, which stretches over the Urubamba River. This bridge is a masterpiece of engineering, carved in protruding rocks embedded in the hillside.
